Description
A dragonfly rests upon autumn leaves that fade from brilliant reds and yellows to a colorless border. This colored pencil and ink drawing reflects the ceaseless change of seasons, colors, light, and texture. I have been drawn to draw dragonflies for many years. The cut-glass beauty of their geometrically paned wings is a marvel of natural design. The way they dart and hover reminds me of hummingbirds. I am forever in awe of their diverse beauty.
