Right panel of a triptych. Morning thunderstorm over Lake Powell.
I painted this from some photos my parents took. They had taken their boat to Lake Powell for their anniversary and parked it under a cliff. Overnight, a storm came up. The downpour sent a waterfall from the cliff directly into the boat. They heard rocks hitting the boat as they rushed to move the boat as it filled with water. Luckily, they survived and the next morning, they took this panorama from a hill as their belongings dried in an adjacent cove
