Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

While traveling in Ireland, one of the most memorable events was an enchanting evening spent at Dunguaire Castle. A delightful dinner in a small upstairs banquet hall highlighted by Irish poetry and song delivered by amazing actors.
The 16th century castle lies on the southwestern shore of Galway Bay near Kinvara. Built in 1520, the castle derives its name from the Dun of King Guaire, the legendary king of Connacht. The 75-foot tower and defensive wall have been restored to its former glory.
In painting, I wanted the lighting to convey the atmosphere of an early evening banquet in the castle. Yes, there really were wild swans, just not exactly in that location. Artisitic license!
Thank you for finding my work! The subjects I choose to paint are frequently inspired by nature and imagining my place in the universe. I have a fondness for the ease of acrylics, but also work with colored pencils, watercolor, oils, and just about any medium I can get my hands on (I think I might be a hoarder of art supplies). Born in Southern California, raised in the mountains of Northern Utah, I have lived much of my adult life in the desert solitude near Palm Springs (with a brief 2-year fling in the tropics of Hawaii). I have enjoyed the beauty, tranquility, and lush environment of all these areas. As an avid hiker and camper, I find the deserts, mountains and ocean beaches to be some of my favorite places.
